May Long Weekend 2013 Camping Night

With not much planned for last night Chelsey and I decided we would take the kids camping; I also figured some fresh air would be good for my chest. We settled on Hope Valley Campground & RV Park as Chelsey had heard from someone at work that it is a good spot for families and I would have to say she was right. We got there around lunch time and the kids rode their bikes while we set up the tent. It was a super good campground for the kids to ride their bikes as it was big enough to explore but small enough not to get lost. One of Chelsey's friends from work came up for a couple of hours and when they arrived everyone went down to the pool and the kids went for a swim. It had a pretty Old Skool park with some dodgy spinny things that I am pretty sure are banned from any school park now but it was pretty cool watching the kids rip it up on those things.

While it was a lot of work for one night it was well worth it as the kids had tonnes of fun and Kyah got really good a riding her bigger bike; Cohens arms are still a touch too small to reach the handle bars perfectly. We had campfires, relaxed, the kids went to bed late - all the stuff you are supposed to do while camping. A couple of pictures below, as well as some on Chelsey's Facebook. You will see one picture of Kyah sleep on the floor as that is where she fell asleep at 6:30 watching a movie tonight and where she still is two hours later.
