Yesterday I took the twins and one of their friends Geocaching around the Chilliwack River Valley; there is an ass load of caches in that area and we found three of them. Not all of the caches had treasure in them as one was a microcache which was the first one of those we found and another was a cement mushroom that somebody had written "this is a geocache" on; needless to say we were a little disapointed with the first two but it was still cool to find them. The third one had some "treasure" in it and once we used the GPS to get to the general area it was Cohen that actually found it. It was cool to see they are catching on and I was impressed he actually found it. Anyways, enjoy the pictures...
The film canaster in Kyah's hand is the microcache we found |
It is hard to see but the wooden mess in the background is an impressive beaver dam; first time I have ever seen one! |
Not impressed with this geocache |
The tub in Cohens hand was the third find of the day and the only one containing "treasure." |
Beavers are hard at work in this area |
